TBR: July's Theme: BEACH

 

Greetings Stack Worms!!!


It's that time of the month when I reveal my TBR theme! Now, I know I've struggled the past two months with reading, but I'm super excited for this month's books. 


For July I'll be focusing on books that heavily feature water/ ocean/ beaches. So, these aren't "Beach Reads" sorry if that's what you were looking for. If you want to suggest some beach reads I'll see if I have 'em and try to fit them in. 


Here is what I have planned (remember this is subject to change due to depression): 

- Fury of the Orcas by Hunter Shea

- The Deep by Rivers Solomon

- Kill River by Cameron Roubique 

- MEG: The Graphic Novel adapted by J.S. Earls


I think I'll start with Kill River. I want an easier read right now. Or maybe MEG first. I'll think about it. 


I did finish Gideon the Ninth, review will be up tomorrow. Toodles!

GREETINGS STACK WORMS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Goodreads says I finished this in a week but it actually only took 4 days. I read Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Why? Because I work the other days and I'm pretty tired after my shift. So, it always looks like I take longer than I actually do. This time I read Hellbound Books' Anthology of Splatterpunk. Again, I thank HBB for providing me the free ebook to review and for partnering with me!  I really love the artwork on this cover! I won't tell you which story it goes with (at least by my guess) because that would be spoiling the story and I haven't warned you about spoilers yet. That would be very rude of me. There are a whopping 24 stories in this anthology. And I like a lot of them I think. Not many two-stars and three out of five means I enjoyed the read. GREETINGS STACK WORMS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today I'm reviewing South of Heaven by Erin Louis. Before I get into the review I must first apologize to HellBound Books for taking so long to finish this book. I don't want to make excuses so I'll just say simply life became shit and I had a lot to deal with. However, I was asked to read this book for a review and feel guilty for taking so long. Again, my deepest apologies I will do better in the future. If you still want to work with me that is. I don't know if I can apologize enough so I'm just gonna get to the review.  I did give this book 4 stars on Goodreads. Upcoming Ebook Reads

  GREETINGS STACK WORMS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just wanted to give y'all a quick update of what I have been reading and will be reading in the near future. Ebook wise at least.  I recently got a few e-Arcs from Netgalley that I've got to read and review and those are:  Pinata by Leopoldo Gout  The Pearl Hunter by Miya T. Beck Nocturne by Alyssa Wees  I've already started Nocturne, just haven't gotten very far seeing as that day I planned to get ahead in it my cat became ill and I had to take him to the hospital. So, I've been monitoring and watching him ever since. He's getting better though and much quicker than I anticipated. Hopefully, I can start reading again Tuesday. Why? Because I work tomorrow, Sunday, and Monday.  But Nocturne is a relatively short book so I should have it done in about three days.
