It's been hell...

GREETINGS STACK WORMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A lot has happened since my last post which was...over 4 months ago. So, the first thing that happened was my phone died, getting a new one was expensive but I officially have a smartphone now. Second, my barely 2-year-old laptop died on me and I didn't have money for a new one. We put it in to get fixed and they had it for a few months before returning it saying they couldn't fix it. Luckily, I was able to access a few things on my smartphone but wasn't able to write. Then my Twitter was hacked in late December and I didn't get it back until March 1st. I lost my Kindle charger so had to buy a new one, found out I bought the wrong one and had to buy another. Got that a week ago.  So, for 4 months I was without Twitter, my Kindle was dead, couldn't access Word to write, and I had no laptop. How lovely. I know I'm bitching about things that aren't really important in today's shitty climate but still, this is why I

GREETINGS STACK WORMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's not talk about how long I've been gone and just get into the post. Today, I am reviewing:  Thank you ever so much to the lovely HellBound Books Publishing LLC for providing me a free ebook for review!! Seriously, awesome company. Since this is an Anthology review it will be different from my 'normal' book reviews. Though, honestly, I don't think I ever do 'normal' book reviews, huh? There are 9 stories in total however, two of them are classics so I won't be reviewing those. So, I'll only be covering 7 stories. Also, if you read this, skip the Introduction. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense in the context of the book. As we DBZ fans say, skip the filler. As my other anthology reviews go, I'll give each story its own rating and then rate the book overall, based on the choice of stories, formatting, and flow.  SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Duh... TRIGGER WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -Death

GREETINGS STACK WORMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For the first time today, I'm reviewing a children's book: Tomb for a Zombunny by David Myriad  First, I must thank HellBound Books, Lapis Lazuli Dream Press, and David Myriad for providing me a free copy to read. Thank you for the adorable story!!! 💙💙💚💚🧟 Do I really need to go through the whole schtick? Yes? Okay, fair is fair.  SPOILER WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Duh... Trigger Warning!!! -Jewish Folklore (please, if this bothers you, go set yourself on fire.  'kay thnx die)  -Zombie gore -Gallows Humor This is a children's book so I'm not going to be very eloquent here (not that I ever am mind).  Zombunny is hopping along, searching for a place to rest. In the process, his journies are narrated by a Death's-head hawkmoth (that's right I know it's a hawkmoth). He encounters a bog Dybbuk, a Golem, a Screech Owl and Owlettes, and finally, Frankenbunny who offers Zombunny a place to rest.  It

GREETINGS STACK WORMS!!!!!!!!!!!! Today I am reviewing: EWEWEWEWEWEWEWEWEWEW!!!!!!!! #NOPE I think this is the first book where I can't actually give it an honest rating. Mainly, because I can't really rate it. I know on GoodReads and Amazon I put three stars but that's because they're required for a review. I put three since it's a middle-of-the-road rating. But really you'll have to decide for yourself if you want to read it. It's not a book I can recommend because of the subject matter. However, I can recommend it because it's a unique enough story that's very well written. There are aspects that I like but the subject is shit...no, I mean literally, it's shit. This book is about shit-poop-excrement-feces-pooh-stools-dookie-dung-excreta-scat-ordure-guano-manure mixed with sex. Do you get it yet? This is a scatological book!! Among other things that will churn your stomach or arouse you, if that's what you're into. No, judgments. Just b

Bad Memories of Buzzard Hill: 8 Tales of the Macabre in the Weird West by C.B. Andrews

GREETINGS STACK WORMS!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's been a while...yeah, it's been a long while. 2 months. Sorry, I know that most don't actually read my reviews but I still feel bad when I'm not updating regularly. I hope, that the people who do read my reviews, will understand when I say these past two months have been the worst. I lost my brother recently even before that my depression had been out of control and finally, I'm getting back to being...my old self at least.  Now, I've promised a very sweet and understanding person, I'd read their book. So, here it is, a long-time-coming review of C.B. Andrews':  Alright, some back story first. I read Cory's The Contest in Hellbound Books' Anthology of Splatterpunk and I really liked it. Well, Cory left me a comment saying that it would be in this book with some updates and so I told him I'd be happy to read and review it. I bought the book from Amazon. Then again, that shouldn't matter, because I giv

GREETINGS STACK WORMS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today I'm reviewing South of Heaven by Erin Louis. Before I get into the review I must first apologize to HellBound Books for taking so long to finish this book. I don't want to make excuses so I'll just say simply life became shit and I had a lot to deal with. However, I was asked to read this book for a review and feel guilty for taking so long. Again, my deepest apologies I will do better in the future. If you still want to work with me that is. I don't know if I can apologize enough so I'm just gonna get to the review.  I did give this book 4 stars on Goodreads. No, not because I'm kissing ass because I fucked up but because it was an enjoyable read. I'll let you know why it didn't get a full 5 stars in the trigger warning.  SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Duh... TRIGGER WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -Christianity  -Catholicism  -Animal death (and it's fucking graphic) (immediately lose 1 star)  -God (yes, he is a
