Book/Writing/Reading Update
Greetings Stack Worms!
Just some updates to go over since May has been a busy (and expensive) month. And there's still a week and a half left.
I finished Burn the Dark by S.A. Hunt yesterday and started reading the Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco. Burn the Dark got 3 stars. And so far I am really enjoying The Bone Witch.
Remember me mentioning a short story that I was writing? Well, I finished it and submitted it. I got a confirmation message about the editors getting it, now I'm just waiting for that rejection letter. My girlfriend said she'll get it framed for me. Stating that it's a rite of passage for all authors. I'm just not like the nightmares I'm having. Oh, you may be wondering to what anthology I submitted to. It is a horror anthology all about classic monsters. Called Classic Monsters Unleashed.
Got some new books too:
Universal Studios Monsters #1: Dracula: Return of Evil by Larry Mike Garmon
Universal Studios Monsters #3: Frankenstein: Anatomy of Terror by Larry Mike Garmon
In the Ravenous Dark by A.M. Strickland (Illumicrate edition w/ stenciled end pages, not top and bottom though just the side which I don't understand the point of that but ok).
Also, I did get an ebook to review for the publishing company HellBound Books. Which I'm really excited about! 😁 They asked me for an honest review for the book Piece it All Back Together by Feind Gottes. It is a little over 500 pages. I have 2 months to read and review. The only problem I think I have is the fact that it's an ebook. I really prefer paperback reading on the computer hurts my eyes. Plus, then I have to carry my laptop around. No, I don't have an e-reader I'm going to need to change that at some point. Just in case I get more requests like this.
