A Dark and Hollow Star by Ashley Shuttleworth

One last old review post for the night. I am planning on re-reading this book and giving more of a thorough review, but I'm waiting for the second book for that. So here is my tiny review of A Dark and Hollow Star. 


My heart was alight like dozens of glow sticks while reading this. I loved every inch of this book! I squeed and laughed so many times that I just couldn't give it less than 5 stars. Also, it's nice to see so much representation. Especially w/ Arlo being confirmed to be Pansexual...like me! Yay!

Anyway, when I was reading this, I saw a lot of myself in Hero actually. Way too many similarities in personalities. Except I know better than to lord over my enemies while they're still alive. And I kind of wanted Hero and Lethe to be more of a thing than they were but I understand why they weren't.

My Favorite Characters: Lethe, Nos, Arlo, Cel, Luck. I'm hoping to like Aurelian and Vehan more during the second book.

GREETINGS STACK WORMS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Goodreads says I finished this in a week but it actually only took 4 days. I read Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Why? GREETINGS STACK WORMS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today I'm reviewing South of Heaven by Erin Louis. Before I get into the review I must first apologize to HellBound Books for taking so long to finish this book. I don't want to make excuses so I'll just say simply life became shit and I had a lot to deal with. However, I was asked to read this book for a review and feel guilty for taking so long. Upcoming Ebook Reads

  GREETINGS STACK WORMS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just wanted to give y'all a quick update of what I have been reading and will be reading in the near future. Ebook wise at least.  I recently got a few e-Arcs from Netgalley that I've got to read and review and those are:  Pinata by Leopoldo Gout  The Pearl Hunter by Miya T. Beck Nocturne by Alyssa Wees  I've already started Nocturne, just haven't gotten very far seeing as that day I planned to get ahead in it my cat became ill and I had to take him to the hospital. So, I've been monitoring and watching him ever since. He's getting better though and much quicker than I anticipated. Hopefully, I can start reading again Tuesday. Why? Because I work tomorrow, Sunday, and Monday.  But Nocturne is a relatively short book so I should have it done in about three days.
